“We have invited Amyra on several occasions to present workshops and lectures as part of our Volunteer Training sessions. Because of her training, education and experience with end-of-life issues, she brings both sensitivity and knowledge to what are in most cases unfamiliar or difficult subjects, allowing our trainees to relax and participate openly. In her workshops she provides participants with simple tools that can be used to assist them in their work as Hospice Volunteers. Her lectures are delivered in a language everyone can understand, with professionalism, sensitivity, and a touch of humor. The feedback we have received is that out trainees not only enjoy and learn quite a lot from her, but also refer to her work for weeks after. Her generous sharing of knowledge and information adds richness to our program and we welcome her back as often as possible.

“We also never hesitate to call on her for our most challenging cases. Her soft voice carries the strength, confidence and experience that make her so good at addressing the emotional and spiritual needs of our patients and their families.”   – Maria Prescott, Executive Director, Hospice of the Conejo

“Earlier this year Amgen Women’s Interactive Network invited Amyra Braha to talk to our staff as part of its ongoing Lunch n’ Learn Speaker Series. Her presentation titled “Growing through Losses in Life” introduced to the audience the need to grieve one’s losses – personal, career, relationship and family, to move forward in your life, grow and heal emotionally as well as spiritually. Many in the audience attended to glean a better understanding of how to manage their emotions when dealing with the death of a loved one.”

“Amyra speaks to the audience in a soothing informative manner, allowing the listeners to relax and absorb what is being said.  She identifies the many losses one experiences in life, not just by death. After listening to Amyra you feel that you have been given permission to truly feel and heal.”   – Pat Jazwa, Amgen Interactive Women’s Network, Amgen, Inc.

“Excellent class!  Being in a highly stressful industry, this class was a great way to learn a new tool to help you release the tension during the most stressful times of your day or week. I have found it to be most beneficial in my professional and personal life as well. I have received more positive feedback from our employees about this class than any other class that we have offered in the past.”   – Liz Jacobson; Human Resources Manager, Buena Vista Hospice

“I have on several occasions had the pleasure of engaging Amyra to speak to our volunteers as part of our volunteering training program. Amyra captivates the audience as she touches the heart and soul of the participants. She has the ability to inspire and nurture those she teaches. I have always found Amyra to be professional and ethical yet warm and caring, with an in-depth knowledge and insight of subjects that are often left unchallenged by most.

“I have received excellent feedback form the volunteers who have been fortune to have Amyra instruct them on such topics as Emotional Release Writing, Spirituality, and Maintaining Boundaries, and I would not hesitate to recommend Amyra as a facilitator and public speaker to anyone interested in understanding more about death and dying, grief, or spirituality.”   – Glenys Bough; Volunteer Coordinator, Buena Vista Hospice
